Reports and student account data are stored and processed in Canada, in AWS Canada Central (Montréal). Notification emails to staff are sent through an email provider whose servers may be outside Canada. The platform is designed to comply with PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
Students can report bullying, violence, harassment, weapons, drugs, mental health concerns, the sharing of intimate images, and other safety concerns. Each report has an urgency level of low, medium or high.
